Q: I want a work done which involves designing, programming etc. Do I have to hire them separately.

Ans: No, you do not have to do that.
Just hire a programmer or designer.

You actually pay for the hours of efforts spent on your tasks.

You can break that up into various tasks such as installation, designing, coding etc.

We work as a team here. So your work will be done by suitable people here i.e. the designing will be done by the designer, the PHP coding will be done by PHP programmers ASP dot NET coding will be done by somebody else.
The person who you hire will be your point of contact and will be reporting the daily status to you.

Q: If I am not able to consume the number of hours that I purchased, then what happens?

Ans: In that case, we transfer the pending number of hours to the next month, upto a maximum of 80 hours.
If you think that you might not be able to use the number of hours then you can shift to a lower package.

You cannot carry forward more than 80 hours per month.

How do I increase or decrease the number of hours that are needed?

Ans: You will have to first subscribe to the new package and then send us an email at itgodz@a2zhelp.com
We will then cancel the older subscription for you.

How do I cancel the subscription?

I want a fixed price quote of my assignment. What should I do?

Ans: Please send us your specs/requirements in a document.

We will have a look at the requirements and send you an estimate.
Please note that once the scope of work is fixed then any change in it on a later date might affect the cost and time estimates

Try to be as detailed as possible in your requirements document. Some of the things that you can send us are sample flow of screens, site map, types of users of your system, similar sites/software that is already made, sample sites/software with layouts that you like etc.

Please note that it will make things easier for us and faster for you if you send us as much information as you can.

What is the difference between a fixed price projects and dedicated programmers?

Ans: In a fixed price project, the scope of work (i.e. what needs to be done) is fixed at the start of the project.
On the basis of that you are given an estimate of time and cost.
Benefits: Cost is fixed. Time can be predicted. Very useful for one time tasks.
Disadvantages: Not suitable for you if need programmers/designers regularly because the per person month cost is more for fixed price projects.
The same person might not work on your next project.

Dedicated Programmer: These are people that you hire. They work in our office but are on your payrolls.
They might not be useful for you if you have projects once in three or four months. But if you are product seller, software company, web hosting company etc, this will be a great option for you.
Benefits: You have one person who is continuously working for you. He/She gets a good understanding of you and is fast in delivering things.
This is cheaper than fixed price projects.
Disadvantages: You have a fixed expense every month i.e. the salary of your programmer/designer.

What are your working days?

Ans: We work from Monday thru Saturday i.e. six days a week from 9 AM India time till 7 PM India time (GMT +5:30)

How many holidays are there for the team? How many holidays are there for the team?
Ans: Your team is located at India, so we enjoy all the Government Holidays here i.e. approx 14 days a year, apart from Sundays.
We work for six days a week, 10 hours a day. So these holidays have negligible effects on your tasks.
If there is something that urgently needs to be done during the holidays, you will have to inform us in advance so that we can make suitable arrangements.

Why is the service so cheap?

Ans: It is cheap because
a. The cost of living in India is many times less than that of USA or Europe or Australia.
b. The expertise is in abundance here.
c. We are a highly streamlined organization, hence our overheads are very less.
d. We use tools and utilities to speed up the task of design and development. Thus the effective efforts for any task is less.
All these make us very cheap as compared to our counterparts anywhere else in the world.

When does my time begin?

Ans: Your time begins when you assign a task to your team.

Ans: You have to figure out how many hours of efforts would you be needing.
You have to first make the payment for the service that you want to hire.
Then you will have to define a task for your team

What happens when the task at hand requires more time than I have left in my account?

Ans: If the time required is within an acceptable range (usually 10% to 20% of the monthly hours), we usually do not interrupt the process and let the team continue to work for you. This extra time is adjusted in the next month’s payment.

How are the payments handled?

Ans: All credit card payments are handled by the secure payment gateway of 2Checkout.com. The payments are handled over a highly secure 128 bit encryptied secure socket layer. This ensures that your payments are secure.
We are never given your credit card details.

Ans: It is very easy for you to increase the number of hours that you require each month from the programmers. You just have to pay the difference amount. There is no other charge or penalty for it.

How is the reporting handled?

Ans: Your team submits you a status report everyday. This is usually an email that tells you what was the task assigned to the team, what did the team accomplish, how much time was taken and what all are left.
All this communication is also stored on the intranet that will be give to you. You can monitor these communications at any time using your browser.

How do you ensure that the designer/programmer/SEO exec does not take more time than required?

Ans: We are a professional company and have been working for the past seven years.

The time required for each task is finalized before starting the project. This time is fixed by both your team and you.

Will my contents/ideas/business secrets be safe with you?

Ans: All the work that we do for you is done under an implied NDA i.e. Non Disclosure Agreement.
You own all the work that is done here. You get the source files and everything here. You own the copyrights etc too.
The work that we do for you is NOT DISCLOSED to anybody under any circumstance.

What happens if the person working on my project suddenly quits your company?

Ans: Every employee has a one month’s notice period before quitting the company. The project manager (Yes, every programmer working for you has a project manager who is continuously monitoring the programmer), immediately assigns a new person to you team. The project manager also ensures that the new person gets all the background knowledge of the project and becomes productive ASAP.
All this is transparent to you.

I have a difficult implementation issue here at my location. Can my remote team visit my office and work here for some time?

Ans: When you hire a programmer, you also get a project manager and quality assurance person. Both of these people review every delivery that leaves our office.

What happens if I am not satisfied with the work?

Ans: In the rare case of some problems with the solution, we will immediately
a. Either replace the programmers/designers in your team
b. Work extra hours to fix things up, without any charge.
c. Do both the above mentioned things.

How do I terminate this agreement ?

Ans: We believe that this service is to make your life easy and to give you the benefit of high quality economical IT experience. This arrangement is not meant to force you to do anything that you don’t want to do.
You can terminate the agreement anytime you wish without giving any reasons or any obligations or liabilities to Kalptaru Infotech Ltd or your team. You just have to inform us by email.

What are your refund policies?

Ans: Due to the intangible nature of our services and the inability to take things back, we DO NOT have any refund policies. The payments, once received, cannot be refunded in any manner. If there is any pending amount, that amount can be adjusted by making your team work for extra hours.
