Getting Started with the ITGodz control panel

1. Logging into the panel

Login: You can login as a client by entering the username and password.

NOTE: Make sure that you have selected AS CLIENT radio button.

As you enter in the project management panel, the home page containing the following information & facilities:

3. Posting a project


Posting a Project: You can add a new project by clicking on the ADD NEW PROJECT LINK. To add a project follow the steps mentioned below:
Click on add project option. A page will be displayed in which all the information related to the projects is mentioned:-

A.)Project Name: Mention the name of the project.
B.)Project Details: Mention all the requirement related to the project.
C.)Attachment: You can attach a file of doc, zip, Jpg, jpeg, pdf, txt, ppt, bmp, gif, xls format files of size max. 2 MB.
Add: To click the project click on the ADD option.
Cancel: If you want to cancel the project click on the Cancel link.

FILTERS
If you want to hide the any existing project than in that case put the flag off. Then that project will not be displayed when the FILTER is on.
When you click on ALL in the filters then all the projects will be displayed. It does not matter whether its filter is ON or OFF.
And if you click on OFF in the filters then only those projects will be displayed whose flag is off.
By default only those projects will be displayed whose flag is on.

STOP WORKING ON THE PROJECT

If you have added the project and you want that programmer should not work on a particular project then click on the
STOP WORKING ON THE PROJECT.
Below the name of the project DO NOT WORK option is displayed. And that link will be displayed to the programmer and admin end.
And again on clicking on that link caption DO NOT WORK will be removed from there.

4 . Posting tasks for each project

After adding the project, mention the task of the project. For that you have to click on the ADD TASK link.

After clicking on Add Task link a new window will be displayed.

Task Name: In Task Name, mention the name of the Task.

Task Details: In Task details mention all the details related to the task

And then click on ADD button. After clicking on ADD button, a new task will be added.

For ex: – If you want some modifications in the project then you can give task name as modification in the project and in the task details mention all the modifications related to the project like on which page modification is required, what changes are required etc.

In this way you can add new task.

In the Task also there is a link of Stop Working and its working and all the procedure is same as of functionality of Stop Working on Project.

After clicking on the particular task, Do not work caption will be displayed to the programmer and to admin. Then the programmer will not work on that particular task.

5. Reviewing the status and responding to queries

If you want to add any activity in the task then just click on that particular task following screen will be displayed which contains the all the information related to the particular activity:-

SUBJECT: – In this subject of the activity is mentioned.

MESSAGE: – Over view of that particular activity is mentioned.

ATTACHMENT: – If you want to attach any file then you can do so by using this option. But file must be only of doc, zip, jpg, jpeg, pdf, txt, ppt, bmp, gif, xls. And its max size must be of 2MB.

After filling the entire entries click on ADD option, a new activity will be added for the programmers.

And if the programmers complete the activity and if he fills the status of that activity then you will also get the Email of the reply.

In this way communication process takes place through the control panel.
